Where Do We Snorkel?
Since we begin from the shoreline to maximize your exposure to the diversity of the reefs, we select our snorkeling location the day before, as shoreline conditions vary. We will text or talk on the phone the afternoon prior to your tour to confirm our meeting location.
What If The Weather Is Bad?
We make every attempt to choose a snorkel location that will allow you to have a fantastic experience with us. However, there are sometimes weather patterns that limit our ability to provide a clear and safe snorkel experience. In these cases, we will reschedule until we are able to provide you with the best snorkel experience ever.
How Many People Are On A Tour?
Our tours are limited to a maximum of 7 participants. If you have a large group of more than 7 people, please inquire for pricing and availability, we can accommodate you.

Our tours include
- Top of the line masks, fins, snorkels (For those who wear glasses or contact lenses, we can provide a mask with optical lenses. Please let us know ahead of time so we will be sure to bring the proper masks with us.)
- Shorty wetsuits

Experience
Do I Need To Be An Experienced Snorkeler?
We cater to both novice and experienced snorkelers. Every group’s snorkeling instruction is determined by whatever skill level is needed, whether it is how to put on a mask or how to improve your free diving skills. We concentrate on allowing you to develop a calm confidence in the water regardless of swimming ability or previous experience. Your relaxation in the water enhances both safety and enjoyment.
How Is MST Different From Other Maui Snorkel Tours?
Our snorkel tours begin off the shoreline and are customized depending upon your level of experience. We are different than other snorkel tours on Maui – who take masses of people by boat to Molokini Crater and other places around the island. Our small group size provides a much more intimate and educational experience.
New To Snorkeling
Is Snorkeling Safe?
Yes! One of the advantages of snorkeling is that people of all ages can participate; and one of the great things about Maui is that there are many places for beginners to try it out!
What Is Snorkeling?
Snorkeling is swimming… with fins, a mask, and a tube (called a snorkel) that allows you to have your face down in the water and still breathe. The primary appeal is the opportunity to observe underwater in a natural setting, without the complicated equipment and training required for scuba diving.
What Is My First Time Snorkeling Experience Going To Be Like?
Snorkeling is a very enjoyable and simple sport. But the truth is that without some basic skills, good equipment, and knowledge about the dangers and conditions of the ocean, a first time snorkeling experience can be a bit scary and potentially dangerous. However, many snorkel tour companies will lead you to think that you can just throw on some gear and jump in. We make sure that your first snorkel experience is one that will provide you with great memories, as well as the tools needed to create your next fun and safe adventure on your own.
