Common Questions
People who snorkel with us range from all ages and skill levels, including those who are physically disabled, afraid of the water, and many with no prior snorkeling experience. Whether it is how to put on a mask, or how to improve your free diving skills, we concentrate on allowing you to develop a calm confidence in the water regardless of swimming ability or previous experience.

Your relaxation in the water enhances both your safety and enjoyment ad is very important to us. Responsible snorkeling is one of the least intrusive, yet most intimate interactions possible with any wilderness environment. Our snorkel tours are designed to stimulate your sense of inquiry, discovery and the joy of learning that comes with exploring the underwater world first-hand. A snorkel lesson will be provided as well as a marine biology briefing to help you identify the different species, and to understand and enjoy the different fish, coral, turtles, and their environment you encounter.
-
Your extraordinary morning of snorkeling will begin about 7:30-8am and wrap up around noon. A marine biology briefing is offered on how to identify different species, and interesting facts about the aquatic environment. Additionally, we provide a lesson for those who have not snorkeled before, as well as tips and techniques to improve existing skills for the more experienced snorkelers. During your tour we view and identify fish, turtles, coral, and more, and go at a slow, leisurely pace.

When you show up, wear your swimsuit with clothes over, and shoes that are easy to get on and off. You will need to bring a towel, waterproof sun block and a hat or visor.

We will bring water, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. You will need to eat a good breakfast that morning, and we will provide food after we are done snorkeling which includes fresh pineapple, granola bars, cheese, a snack mix and bottled water.
